Hi! My name is Sydney Smith.
I want to welcome you personally to the Smithhouse Films clan. We've been blessed to work with some amazing couples and tell some beautiful love stories-- and we cannot wait to listen as you tell us yours. To accurately and thoughtfully craft your work of art, we aim to work with just 12-20 couples per year so that we can really get to know both you and your love. By film delivery day, you're like family to us!
Who's "us"? Good question! Your Smithhouse Films team consists of myself, Sydney, and my wonderful husband, Travis. We always like to joke that Travis is my employee of the month every month.
Fun fact: we got married super young and did not hire a videographer to capture our day. We know, blasphemy. To be honest, we didn't foresee needing one. But now, as that beautiful day slowly drifts from our memories, we know without a shadow of a doubt that a tangible film could have made all of the difference. And so, that's our why. That's what makes the wedding day so exciting, and what makes the hours-long editing all worth it.
